A true music connoisseur, Jordan “DJ Tilt” Rulloda is quickly rising as one of the most demanded DJ’s not only in Canada, but internationally and overseas as well.

Playing a mashup style of music, his mixes include everything from oldies, 80’s rock to the hottest hip-hop, R&B, Top 40, house, and everything in between. He knows what his crowds like and he knows how to please their ear and keep them dancing until the wee hours of the night.

A university graduate, DJ’ing was never a career vision. “I just sort of got into it,” Tilt chuckles. In the past three years he has built a loyal fan base in cities like Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, LA, Denver, DC, New York, Nassau, Bahamas and more. His wide music knowledge allows him to stay on top of current trends worldwide catering better to his growing fan base. His selection of music is enjoyed by A-list celebrities such as Lauren Conrad, Chris Nunez, Brody Jenner, Joel Madden, Kim Kardashian who attend his events regularly.

In ’08, DJ Tilt spun at the Vanity Fair/Google Party in Denver for the Democratic Convention After Party where 3000 A-list personalities attended among which were people like Jamie Foxx, Ashley Judd, Jessica Alba, Ben Afleck, Anne Hathaway, etc. Due to an extensive client list, Tilt’s resume as a DJ expands beyond the club as he provides services for companies like Google, L’Oreal, Ralph Lauren, YouTube, Skky Vodka, Diesel, and more. In fact on Tuesday, Jan 20th 2009, DJ Tilt spun at the Google Inaugural Ball for U.S.A. President, Barack Obama on his inauguration day. Among attendees where John Kerry, Jessica Alba, Ben Affleck, John Cusack and Jennifer Garner. CBC News did an exclusive piece on DJ Tilt on his visit to DC and his involvement with such a special event.

In 2011, he became a brand ambassador for HP (Hewlett-Packard) and is their Official DJ. He also did an ad campaign which shows DJ Tilt endorsing the product where you can catch at any local Best Buy & Cineplex Movie Theatres in Canada.

“I admire what DJ’s like AM, David Guetta, Clinton Sparks or Aoki did for music,” Tilt says. “They have a huge following and are exceptional at breaking in new sounds constantly, no matter where they play. That’s what I’m trying to accomplish as a DJ.”

Over the years, Tilt has had several residencies and currently holds down 3 of the hottest clubs in the city of Toronto. He’s constantly on the go, breaking international audiences as much as possible. Right now, he’s working on his 15th mixtape to date, titled “2K12.”
